One of the questions we always hear are, “What is the difference between Nerf and Step Bars?” We consider Step Bars and Nerf Bars very similar. They both mount solid generally to the underside of your rig, and offer a stationary solution to help you and yours take a safe step into or out of the pickup. Nerf Bars are generally round tubing with a flat spot on the top for you to step, while Side Steps are usually constructed from plate steel. They both offer the same solution, while giving the consumer an option based on structure and appearance. At Diesel Pros we carry both, and we have the real world knowledge and experience to back up what we sell. As always, we are enthusiasts first. So feel free to pick up that phone and give us a call or shoot us an email if you have any questions on your selection or if you don't see what you are looking for!
